This page is the heart of the Ark Two Plan for manufacturing medicines in the post-apocalyptic period. It is also the most unfinished and will ever remain a work in progress.

Key to the plan will be the development of an input / output table showing which chemicals are required for the production of other chemicals and medicines. The idea is present this table as a chart that will show the root elements and the restraining or missing elements in manufacturing and particular chemical or medicine. The chart may prove to be quite complicated with many interrelated paths and chemicals.

One major tool that we have acquired is the last printed copy of the many volume Thomas Register. This will permit us to identify where particular chemicals were previously manufactured so that we may be able to find remanents of those processes, skills and capabilities. The actual development of strategies and assignment of tasks must await the time when we can identify what resources have survived.

For the time being we shall have to content ourselves with developing the input / output tables.
